The long-established Quality, Environmental and H&S Standards of TES have once again been rubber-stamped, as the company recently renewed its ISO 19001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS \u00a018001 accreditations following an exacting 3-day audit.<\/p>\n
The rigorous assessment undertaken by NQA, the Awarding Body for the quality, environmental and H&S management systems, was completed in June.\u00a0 An extensive examination of in-house procedures, documentation systems and an onsite assessment completed the audit.<\/p>\n
The company initially received ISO 9001 and 14001 accreditations in 2006 and 2007 respectively, with OHSAS being integrated into the Management System in 2013.\u00a0 Whilst the company always had a scrupulous H&S system prior to OHSAS accreditation, it seemed apparent that integrating the three disciplines into one management system would provide a seamless platform for monitoring, control and contract delivery.<\/p>\n
To uphold the ISO accreditations, TES are audited annually to ensure the Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety systems are effectively managed.\u00a0 John Crossan, TES SHEQ Manager commented, \u201cThe continued achievement of globally-accepted quality, environmental & H&S benchmarks demonstrates TES’ ongoing commitment to internationally recognised standards\u201d. \u00a0John added, \u201cThe certification demonstrates the ongoing quality and continuous improvement that we endeavour to implement across all of our operations.\u201d<\/p>\n
As a company, TES go to great lengths to ensure the Quality, Environmental and H&S systems and procedures are embedded throughout the organisation; through ongoing personnel development, training, workshops and regular newsletters and information soundbites.\u00a0 All staff members are extremely familiar with the respective procedures and processes to ensure the Integrated Management System is effectively rolled-out at mong all disciplines and all levels of the organisation.<\/p>\n
In addition to OHSAS 18001, TES are also members of ROSPA (The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents), which acts as a source of support, advice and guidance on the company\u2019s commitment to continually improve the welfare, safety and health of employees.<\/p>\n
