TES have recently signed a third long-term framework contract with Irish Water for the provision of Monitoring and Control Equipment associated with Water and Wastewater Assets including associated civil engineering works. This\u00a0 latest framework award follows two framework contracts being signed between TES and Irish Water for the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants.<\/p>\n
Irish Water was founded in 2013 and brought the water and wastewater services of the 31 local authorities together\u00a0under one national service provider, it is responsible for the delivery of water services to approximately 80% of the population. Decades of under investment, combined with a lack of planned asset management and maintenance programmes\u00a0had led to a legacy of deficiencies in treatment plants and networks.<\/p>\n
This new framework agreement will see TES helping Irish Water to deliver upon their capital investment programme, aimed at correcting decades of under investment and to provide a modern water treatment network able to meet the requirements of both current and future generations.<\/p>\n
