Mayo. The project will support Irish Waters first national plan to ensure that the environment is protected from the impacts of wastewater discharges.<\/p>\n<p>TES were awarded the contract following an intensive selection process involving companies throughout the UK and Ireland and will shortly be commencing works. The project will incorporate the following elements;<\/p>\n<p>Belcarra WwTP Upgrade Works<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain current treatment levels during Design Build stage.<\/li>\n<li>Inlet flow measurement and sampling.<\/li>\n<li>New primary settlement tank.<\/li>\n<li>New forward feed pump station.<\/li>\n<li>New Rotating biological contactor.<\/li>\n<li>New Secondary settlement tank.<\/li>\n<li>Provision for sludge holding.<\/li>\n<li>Final effluent flow measurement and sampling.<\/li>\n<li>Refurbishment of existing control building<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Lahardane WwTP Upgrade Works<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supply and install of a new 6mm automatic inlet spiral screen<\/li>\n<li>Inlet flow measurement and sampling.<\/li>\n<li>New Primary settlement tank.<\/li>\n<li>New fine bubble diffused aeration (FBDA) system.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0New secondary settlement tank.<\/li>\n<li>Sludge holding tank.<\/li>\n<li>Supply and install final effluent (washwater) pump station<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Commenting on the recent award TES Contracts Manager Ciaran Donnelly said &#8220;we welcome another opportunity to work with the Irish Water team and look forward to commencing works on this project.
